1. Purchase a candle making kit.

2. Check the ingredients and tools you have in the kit, it should have the ff:

• Coconut wax, the best wax for candle making
• 2 bottles of 1oz fragrance oils
• #8 Wick - the soul of the candle
• Wick sticker
• Wick bar
• Mixing stick
• Burning instruction bottom sticker

3. Prepare your glass container by sticking in the #8 wick at the center of the glass using the wick sticker and securing it with the wick bar. Don’t forget to attach the burning instruction sticker at the bottom of your glass.

4. Melt your wax. You may choose to use a microwave and pop the wax in for three minutes. Make sure you use a microwave suitable container. Each microwave is different, if your wax is not fully melted after three minutes add a 20 seconds interval in until your wax is melted. If you want to try melting your wax in a double boiler, you just need to do as you would melt a chocolate bar. Perfect temperature for melted wax is 180 degrees.

5. Mix in your fragrance and if you want to use colored dyes you may do so and use the mixing stick provided. Make sure you stir it well.

6. Pour the melted wax into your glass then set aside for 5 hours for curing.

7. Once it has completely solidified, take your scented candle, remove the wick bar and cut the excess wick. Make sure you leave a quarter inch of wick from the top of the wax.

8. Enjoy your homemade candle!
